Itinerary -


Day 01: KOLKATA- DIMAPUR

On arrival at Dimapur Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you in check in at a hotel. Later we will drive you to Diezephe Village which is also known as Craft Village. Overnight stay in Dimapur.

 

Day 02: DIMAPUR- ATHIBUNG (125KM. APPROX. 5HRS)

Post breakfast today, we will drive to Athibung Village, en route, we shall also visit Kachari Ruins and the local market. Overnight stay in Athibung Guest House.

 

Day 03: ATHIBUNG

Today, we shall attend the Mimkut Festival, where we witness dances, songs, games and relish community feast. Overnight stay in Athibung Paying Guest House.

 

Day 04: ATHIBUNG- BENREU VILLAGE (110KM. APPROX. 4HRS)

In the morning today, we shall drive to Benreu Village, en route we will visit Pelekie Village, which is famed for salt making. Further, we shall drive to Benreu Village for an overnight stay.

 

Day 05: BENREU- DZULEKE VILLAGE (20KM)

Today, in the morning, we shall explore Benreu Village where we will witness Rehangki or Morungs and traditional houses that still are decorated with animal skulls. We shall also visit Dzuleke Village, where we will enjoy a short picnic. Overnight at tented accommodation in Dzuleke.

 

Day 06: DZULEKE- KHONOMA (24KM)

In the morning today, we shall go for a short trekking expedition towards the jungle. Later we will visit Khonoma Village, which is the first green village of the country. En route, we will spot Mithun, the state animal that likes to leisurely graze. After the sighting, we will relish a picnic lunch and then proceed to Khonoma Village. Overnight stay in Khonoma

 

Day 07: KHONOMA

In the morning today, we will explore the village and shall learn a thing or two about the history, culture and tradition of the place.We shall witness ceremonial gates, morungs, age group houses. We will also meet the local craftsmen. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a picnic lunch. Post lunch, we will witness how the locals practise jhum cultivation or shifting cultivation along with Alder trees. In the evening we will get a chance to relish indigenous games that are played by local youth followed by bonfire where the local brew will be served. Overnight in a homestay in Khonoma.

 

Day 08: KHONOMA- KOHIMA (20KM/1 HRS)

We shall drive to Kohima today. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later visit to the local market and souvenir shops. Post lunch, we shall visit museum and Kohima Village. Overnight stay in Kohima City.

 

Day 09: KOHIMA

Post breakfast, we shall explore close by villages like Jakhama, Kigwema, and Kisama. After lunch, we will visit the Second World War Cemetery. Overnight stay in Kohima.

 

Day 10: KOHIMA-DIMAPUR (68 KM/. 2 ½ HRS)

We will drive to Dimapur to catch a flight.

  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like cyclone, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client and directly payable on the spot).

  • Early check-in and Late check-out charges are not included in the above cost. Standard Check-in time : 1400 hrs. / Standard Check-out time:  1100 hrs.
  • Costs does not include any type of Surcharges if any and will be charged if applicable (Eg. Gala Dinner , Festive Season Charges, Long weekend etc.)
  • Room upgrades and freebies from the hotel

Payment Policy :

  • Booking amount required 100% amount of Flight Tickets & 50% amount of Land Package
  • Rest 50% payment should be done before 20 days of your departure 

Cancellation Policy :

  • Cancellation charge of 25% of total amount on package ( except Flight )per person is applicable any time after the booking is confirmed.
  • No refund, if cancellation is received less than 10 days before arrival.
  • 50% of the total package amount is applicable, if cancellation is received between 11 - 20 days before arrival.
  • 25% of the total package amount is applicable, if cancellation is received between 21 - 30 days before arrival.
  • During COVID or any other pandemic situation the cancellation charges will be on sole discretion of the management and it will be decided on case to case basis.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the
  • operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.  
  • Cancellation Policy for Air Ticket depends on the Airlines policy

Terms & Conditions :

  • Kindly note hotels are not equipped to provide Indian items in their breakfast and they would try the same.
  • In case any guest requires Indian Items during the breakfast there would be additional charges applicable. 
  • Strictly NO Refund for any un-utilized services once booking is confirmed.
  • The above quote is strictly subject to availability of rooms at the time of booking.
  • The quote is strictly applicable as mentioned above and changes will attract a deviation in the costs.
  • This is only a quotation. We are not blocked/booked/holding any rooms/ restaurants and will be subject to availability at the time of booking, so rate can not be guaranteed with a late confirmation.
  • In case there is an increase or decrease in the number of pax there would be a change in the costs.
  • Remittance charges of USD 30 would be applicable per transaction.
  • ROE would be charged as per the prevailing ROE on the day of making payments.
